Seafood retailer launches new website
18th April 2008
WEST Berkshire Seafoods in Thatcham launched a new website and competition by displaying a shark.
The shark, from Brittany, will be on display throughout today (Thursday), tomorrow and Saturday.
Over these days, visitors will be invited to join in a competition to guess its weight.
The shop, on the A4 near the junction with Henwick Lane, will also make a donation to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution with some of the proceeds from the competition.
Shop owner, Sean Murray, who has been in the fish trade for 15 years, said that his new website will include home deliveries for restaurants, companies and indivduals.
Mr Murray said: "The website is updated every day and that shows the freshness of our stock. It is an informative website."
