Digital win for Thatcham businessman

THATCHAM businessman Nigel Johnson has won one of the most advanced digital music players in the world.
Mr Johnson, who runs his own property development and re-cycling equipment company Hawkridge Estates, won a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 6 player after visiting the recent Newbury Talking Property Exhibition.
He said: “I know it’s a fantastic prize because my sons have been busy telling me all about how good it is and what it can do. In fact, they seem so keen on it that I might be lucky to get my hands on it.
“I’ve never owned any Bang & Olufsen equipment before but it’s a brand that I’ve always admired. Now at last I have one of their top products it might be snatched from me by my eager sons.”
BeoSound 6 has won international acclaim for the clarity of its sound reproduction. The exclusive prize was presented to Mr Johnson, who lives near Thatcham, by Bang & Olufsen of Newbury.
