Newbury Racecourse venue for two-day conference
THE latest office computer technology was on display recently at Newbury Racecourse.Bath-based company RB Document Solutions Ltd (RBDSL) hired the conference facilities for the two-day event.
The company has designed computer software which covers document imaging, along with storing and retrieving files.
The computer system is manufactured by Compulink Inc, of California, and it is used by more than 25,000 customers worldwide.
The company also displayed several other new technology systems including a digital signature system for electronically signing and sealing computer generated documents.
The researchers have also developed a new electronic system to scan cheques.
A new digital pen allows businessmen to send a hand written form to a computer using Bluetooth technology.
