Gardner Leader ladies 'walk the walk' for breast cancer charity

Ann Carter, Laura Carter and Bernadette Lloyd are completing the gruelling night-time walk in honour of their colleague Christine Bennett, who tragically died of cancer in 2004. Ann, Laura and Bernadette have been training hard and raising sponsorship funds for several months in preparation for the big night.
The overnight ‘Moonwalk' event, held on Saturday, will see thousands of women (and men!) from across the country walking across London, proudly displaying their bras. Starting at 11.30pm, Bernadette and Ann are completing the 26 mile course, whilst Laura will be completing the 13 mile course. 7.00am on 18 May should see all three women complete the course, helping raise awareness, spirits and funds in the fight against breast cancer.
Chris Felton, partner at Gardner Leader, commented on the ‘Moonwalk mission': "Ann, Laura and Bernadette have really done Gardner Leader proud with their efforts to raise funds and complete the Moonwalk event. I am sure that their efforts will not go unappreciated by others too, as the money that they raise will help to improve the lives of those suffering from breast cancer and to find a cure for this terrible disease."
