Highcross augments asset management team
14th November 2011
Property fund manager Highcross, which has its head office in Newbury, has made four new appointments in its asset management team.
Mike Morley, who has joined as graduate surveyor and Charlotte Anderson, who has been appointed property administrator, will both be located at the Newbury office.
Mike Morley has just graduated with a first class degree in Real Estate Management and is currently completing his professional qualifications. He will be taking responsibility for the Llandough Trading Estate in Cardiff as well as Highcross’ properties at the Treforest Industrial Estate in South Wales and Waterside Park in Bracknell.
Charlotte Anderson has joined Highcross from Qube Learning and will be providing assistance for the asset management team relating to properties in the South, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Highcross has also appointed new regional facilities managers for properties in the South of England and Scotland. Peter West, who has joined from Capita Symonds, will be taking on the role of estate manager at the Lakeside North Harbour business park in Portsmouth, as well as supervising facilities management at other Highcross properties in the South.
In Glasgow, Karen Sweeney has joined Highcross from Knight Frank, and is taking responsibility for facilities management across the Scottish region.
Nick Turner, asset management director at Highcross, said: “These new appointments reflect this year’s significant growth in our property portfolio and also a decision to expand our internal facilities management team, a move which we believe will bring added benefits to our occupiers.”
