A canteen manager has become the first person at Newbury Buses to be named employee of the month.
Peggy Field, who is based at the bus depot in Newbury, was nominated for the award due to her devotion to her job.
Newbury Buses manager Russell Barrington-Crow said: "The award is a new incentive designed to recognise the abilities of our various members of staff who make a big contribution to the running of the organization.
"For me, Peggy was the obvious choice because she provides consistent good service which keeps staff happy and that is very important to the people at the bus depot.
"She is a very worthy first winner of the award."
Mrs Field received £100 and a certificate.
