Almost certainly the newest company on Charnham Park, Hungerford, is Hungerford Garden Machinery, and already its impressive array of mowers and other garden equipment, combined with the expertise to service and repair, is attracting customers to the new business.
It has been founded by Rob Gribble, who also founded the reputable Baydon Mowers 10 years ago, and has left his father running that company in order to launch the new venture in Hungerford. He explained: “Oakes Brothers moved out of the town before Christmas and there is definitely a demand for the service and equipment we offer. We stock brands like Countax, Echo, Stihl, Rover and Hayter and besides mowers we sell chainsaws, brush cutters, hedge cutters and lots more.”
Nick Day is another talented engineer working at the store, which offers a full collection and delivery service and is offering Newbury Business Today readers a mower service for just £85 if they mention the paper.
