Founded as SMS Maintenance in 1995, the company has grown significantly in its heating and air conditioning services. It relocated from Stratfield Sye to 35a Kingfisher Court in July 2009.
Operating mainly in the commercial and industrial sector, the company provides customers a 24/7 service to many local authorities, public bodies, and various commercial end users. SMS also specialises in services to independent schools through councils and in many cases direct.
Owned and run by directors Dennis Neves and Kevin Tarbox, from its Kingfisher Court base, the company consider its prime area of operation to be the Thames Valley Corridor.
Commercial manage Mark Lund, who heads sales and key contracts, said that the move to Kingfisher Court has proved beneficial to the company.
“Now being located at the heart of Newbury Many enquiries have materialised purely through our being in this location” he said.
