New offices in Newbury town centre and an expanded team have propelled Refined Recruitment to the forefront of finding the right staff for businesses across West Berkshire and beyond.
From its traditional position of supplying accounts, catering, IT, personnel and HR, data entry and call centre staff, through to a new service to find contract cleaning and maintenance workers and retail staff, Refined Recruitment has hit the ground running after moving to Brook House, Northbrook Street from Thatcham.
Owner Denise Jenner said:  “We are delighted to be in these new offices where we continue to distinguish ourselves as we match not just the skills and backgrounds of both client and candidate, but also match them as individuals.
“We have a fresh, personal approach to the recruitment selection process identifies the best people for an organisation, saving our clients valuable time and effort.

Maintenance and contracts coordinator Sally Munday has joined Refined Recruitment and uses a career handling maintenance and cleaning contracts within the local authority and social housing sector to identify the right candidates for clients who need these types of employees.
She said: “I have been responsible for £5m contracts through to arranging for a simple plumbing problem to be fixed and this reflects the typical needs of our clients.”
Another new member of the team, recruitment consultant Catherine Lake, said: “My background is in business services.
“I’ve always been customer-focused and believe in taking responsibility, and that is what I bring to Refined Recruitment, and something I can offer to our clients and candidates. I also understand recruitment from a business point of view and have been on the other side, recruiting staff for my previous employers.”
Sally Stevens is Refined Recruitment’s payroll and office coordinator and she ensures that all the temporary staff that the recruiter provides are paid on time. Formerly with the Department of Trade and Industry, she is very experienced in the legislation governing temporary employment and this, combined with a terrific attention to detail also means Sally Stevens is the compliance officer.
A background leading sales teams has meant recruitment consultant Clara Deas has the ideal experience to help clients looking for sales staff to find the right people. She has been with Refined Recruitment for four months, and like her colleagues, she shares the customer-focused goals of the company.
