Business Training Solutions: National quality mark for training experts

WEST Berkshire’s Business Training Solutions Ltd has been accredited with the Matrix Standard – a nationally-recognised quality mark for organisations that provide support to individuals to make learning and work more accessible.
Business Training Solutions gained accreditation to the Matrix Standard in January after 12 months during which time staff worked tirelessly to meet required standards. The company is one of only four training companies to gain the award within Berkshire and one of only 27 organisations in the county to hold this national quality mark.
Business Training Solutions delivers National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) throughout the Berkshire area.
Its portfolio of qualifications includes business and administration, customer service, teaching assistants and assessor and verifier awards. Business Training Solutions is an approved LSC training provider and has funding available to deliver some of these qualifications free of charge.
Director Margaret Young, who founded the company with fellow director Margo McIver, explained: “All training and assessment takes place at the client’s premises at a date and time to suit both the employer and the learner. All clients are supported by a named assessor who will work with them from commencement to completion of their chosen qualification.”
Margo said: “Business Training Solutions has a wide and varied client base and we wanted to ensure that these clients were receiving the best information, advice and guidance possible. The Matrix Standard, amongst other things, will help ensure we continue to deliver a quality service to clients.”
