Pentangle Dental Transformations, a multi-award winning cosmetic and implant dental clinic, opened in the centre of Newbury in July 2006.
The Pentangle is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art centre for the treatment of complex cosmetic and implant cases and accepts referrals from other dentists.
Since opening, Pentangle Dental has rapidly established itself as the primary referral practice in the area for aesthetic dentistry.
The centre has grown such that more than 140 dentists now regularly ask it to treat their patients.
In response to increasing demand for a more comprehensive range of dental services, the Pentangle partners, Rob Oretti and Steve Jones, are delighted to introduce three new team members, Alexandra Efthymiou, Paul Cruci and Ben Mathers to the practice.
“We are now seeing more than 400 referred patients each year as well as those that seek us out directly,’’ Rob Oretti said, “and the range of treatments that are needed has expanded.”
Steve Jones added: “Paul is a specialist endodontist who will be able to provide root canal treatments – both simple and complex – for our patients and Alexandra, also a specialist in her chosen field, will be focusing on those patients who present with gum disease. “Traditionally, this has been limited to preventing further damage to the gums such as recession and bone loss, a maintenance program really, but Alexandra will bring along a new range of modern techniques which can actually regenerate and reverse this process in some cases.”
Owing to the huge increase in demand for cosmetic dentistry, Ben Mathers has joined the team working alongside Steve Jones and Rob Oretti in providing all the latest treatments to enhance patient smiles.
‘’This is an exciting time for us,’’ added Rob Oretti, “particularly as most people are not aware of all the developments that have occurred in dentistry over the last few years and our new team members will certainly improve our range of services.’’
In addition to winning the best new practice in the UK award in 2007, the Pentangle is now celebrating another landmark, achieving the British Dental Association’s ‘Good Practice Accreditation’ this year.
